About Megan
Megan Putnam is a New York-trained actor and performer whose range spans the intimate demands of experimental theater to the technical precision of film and television. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts — where she trained in the Experimental Theater Wing and Stella Adler Technique — Megan brings a rigorous, craft-first approach to every role she inhabits.
Her screen credits include lead roles on Investigation Discovery’s I Almost Got Away With It and a string of independent films spanning NYU thesis productions to Bay Area features. On stage she has brought characters to life across Shakespeare, musical theater, and provocative new works at companies including the Marin Shakespeare Company, Custom Made Theatre, Thrillpeddlers, and New Conservatory Theatre Center.
What sets Megan apart is not just her versatility but her commitment to the full creative process. She is as comfortable in the writers room — listening, questioning, and building — as she is stepping in front of the camera or walking into the light. Her energy is infectious without being distracting, her instincts sharp without being precious. Directors and collaborators find in her someone who arrives prepared, stays curious, and elevates the work around her.
